Company Overview: Clear Compliance was a start-up Software Company offering consulting expertise and a software solution to assist companies that were required to comply with the Sarbanes Oxley Act which established new or enhanced standards for all U.S. public company boards, management, and public accounting firms.

Challenges: Clear Compliance was not prepared to launch their Sarbanes-Oxley software solution until after the date that all publicly traded companies were required to comply with the Act. The competitive landscape was fierce and the market was already saturated.

Implications: Clear Compliance needed to identify market viability as well as potential untapped sources of revenue.

Solutions: Concept Hub, Inc researched online communities to provide Clear Compliance with findings relating to:

- Identify Relevant Communities and Key Influencers
- Competitive Analysis
- Establish Key Performance Indicators
- Campaign Strategies
- Revenue Models

Timeline 2 month project (2007)

Results Concept Hub, Inc identified opportunities for Clear Compliance to join conversations where potential clients had gathered to ask questions and share their experiences. Although the market was saturated with software solutions there were still many organizations seeking expert advice and their search had lead them to online communities. Many of the service providers had yet to join those communities and therefore the competitive landscape was advantageous for Clear Compliance to join the communities and establish themselves as Sarbanes Oxley experts.

Concept Hub, Inc also identified untapped markets for the Clear Compliance Software solution. Although publicly traded companies had to have a solution in place by a specified deadline, many nonprofits and International companies who were not required to comply with the act were still evaluating Sarbanes Oxley solutions as a guideline to improve their own accounting methods.

Overall findings was that there was still an opportunity for Clear Compliance to enter into the market.
