Assessment Tool: Spearheaded Georgia-Pacific's 360 Communications Assessment Tool, allowing managers to receive open and honest feedback on their communications skills...and the resources to initiate a self-development program.
Favorite Case Study: (Please describe the industry, problem, your solution & the results)
Client: When Crossroads North, a Fulton County, GA alternative school opened its doors in 2006, there was public outcry from the surrounding community. Also, the school had little funding to improve its then (ineffective) curriculum.

Challenge: Strengthen community relations, build business partnerships and acquire foundation support.

Solution: Executed integrated (internal and marketing) communications strategy that resulted in additional funding, business partnerships and community support and recognition. Also pursued a service-learning curriculum - and grant - in 2006. Now this Georgia Learn and Serve school's learning curriculum includes projects that benefit the North Sandy Springs community in Atlanta. Business partnerships and foundations have provided for valuable projects, including a community garden, with public support.
Lessons Learned:
Start with the end in mind: build strategies solely focused on the (authentic) mission.
