At the Chase Center on the Riverfront, Wilmington, during the 2009 Governors’ Entrepreneurial Business Conference, Governor Markell and The Director of the Delaware Economic Development Office Secretary Alan Levin shared their vision for business in the State of Delaware with new and developing initiatives being designed specifically for the Delaware business community. The goal of the conference was to usher in the resources Delaware’s small businesses need to succeed. It is indeed a “new way for a new day”. This conference served as a “small business success road map” to all who attended; a roadmap that will clearly identify small business resources, support entities and their core competencies, all who have a renewed pledge to offer “bulls eye” support and assistance to Delaware’s small businesses both now and in the future.
